The school was instituted in 1994 under the guidance of Ms. Edith Caoile, a seasoned educator with a legacy of teaching experience in the country's best schools and universities. Today, she continues to manage the school together with other teachers and administrators who are graduates of UP, Miriam, and other schools that are supplemented with further training by the Ateneo Teachers' Center and Ms. Edith Caoile as well.
At its inception in the summer of 1994,
CHIME Learning School
had 42 students in Pre-School. This grew to 69 students in the school year of 1994-1995, thus paving the way for the school to be granted authorization to operate by the then Department of Education, Culture, and Sports (DECS). The following year, CHIME Learning School
started its Grade School operations. Grade School Levels I and II were initially offered in 1995-1996, followed by Levels III and IV in 1996-1997, and Levels V and VI from 1997-1999.
By the year 2001, CHIME Learning School
was recognized by the DECS under Government Recognition (NCR) No. P-005 - Series of 2001 for its Pre-School operations, and Government Recognition (NCR) No. E-00s Series of 2001 for its Grade School operations.
CHIME Learning School is a Family Corporation duly registered with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). It is a non-sectarian educational institution.
